Hi Amin, can you start by sharing with our readers how your journey in real estate began in Dubai?

In 2022, I moved from Russia to Dubai. I started sending my resume to every available vacancy, and one of the companies responded, inviting me for an interview. I joined their team and worked with them for six months. However, I had to leave the company to finalise my first deal.

What were the main challenges you identified in the real estate industry that led you to launch Makyee?

The biggest challenges were the deceptive practices of some agents, the significant waste of time in gathering documents, and the buyers’ lack of understanding of transactions. Additionally, there’s a lot of hidden information that agents withhold to maximise their profits.

What inspired you to create Makyee, and how does it address the transparency issues you observed?

When I first arrived in Dubai, I stood on my balcony and thought, “What is it like for buyers to purchase property here?” I realised how difficult it must be. During my search for a rental property, I noticed how much crucial information is hidden—like the apartment number, floor, series, location, view, etc. That’s when the idea of creating a platform came to me, where buyers could access all the necessary data about a property, visit it easily, and, if they liked it, purchase it with all the documents delivered to them seamlessly. Makyee tackles the issue of transparency because it’s an independent platform, not influenced by an agent’s personal agenda. There’s no manipulation or emotional pressure to get someone to buy or sell a property.

Can you describe the core mission of Makyee and how it aims to simplify real estate transactions?

Makyee’s mission is to ensure transparency between the seller and the buyer. The seller sets the price, and the buyer sees it—directly and without intermediaries. There’s no agent saying, “I have another buyer,” or a seller inflating prices without disclosure. Everything is straightforward: the buyer comes and buys. It’s not like dealing with an agent who might complicate the process or refuse to sell if you have a disagreement.

How did Dubai’s dynamic environment influence the development and direction of Makyee?

Dubai is known for its innovation and speed, especially in real estate transactions. However, agents often slow down the process with unnecessary delays. Makyee provides an open environment in line with Dubai’s goals, acting as a bridge between buyers and sellers. Unlike agents, Makyee can process information 17,000 times faster.

What specific technological innovations does Makyee utilise to streamline the real estate process?

Makyee is fully structured for the buying and selling of real estate, with licensing from the Dubai Land Department.

How does Makyee empower individuals throughout their real estate journeys, and what impact have you seen so far?

With Makyee, someone in China can buy an apartment in Dubai and receive all the necessary documents without ever meeting an agent in person or engaging in unnecessary communication.

You’re also passionate about equestrian sports. How does your involvement in this hobby influence your professional approach and determination?

Equestrian sports help me unwind from work and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Looking ahead, what are your aspirations for Makyee on a global scale? How do you envision its influence expanding beyond Dubai?

I envision Makyee as a global property wallet application where all your real estate documentation is stored in one place. It will enable any transaction and document updates. Our next step is to expand into the markets of Saudi Arabia and the United States.

What future developments or innovations are you most excited about for Makyee?

We are planning to add rental services and synchronise worldwide with local real estate departments.

Finally, what advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs who want to make a significant impact in their industries?

No one will tell you how to be rich and successful. Everyone has their own path. Just don’t give up, and don’t listen to anyone who tries to hold you back.
